The Schwan Food Company was founded in 1952 in Marshall, Minnesota. Today the
town is still the home of Schwan’s corporate headquarters, four Schwan’s Global
Supply Chain plants, Schwan’s University, and the company's state-of-the-art

Salina, Kansas
Schwan began operating a pizza plant in Salina, Kansas in 1970, when it first
purchased the Tony's® pizza brand. Over the years, the plant has grown
from a 12,000-square-foot facility to more than 450,000 square feet. Today, it

Pasadena/Deer Park, Texas
These two manufacturing facilities are located in the outlying areas of
Houston, Texas. The two plants lay claim to being the largest producers of egg
rolls in the world, manufacturing ethnic foods and appetizers under the Minh®
and Asian Sensations™ brand names. The Texas plants also produce burritos,

Montreal, Quebec, Canada
In 2005, Schwan’s Venture Group, Inc., a subsidiary of The Schwan Food Company, acquired
pizza and bread-product manufacturer T&N Foods. As a start-up business in the late 1980's, T&N
Foods first produced dough balls in the cellar of a pizzeria. It has since grown to become
one of Canada's leading manufacturers of premium, private-label frozen pizza. In 1996,
T&N Foods was the first in Canada to pioneer and introduce rising-crust frozen pizza.
Its current product line includes thin, rising-crust, deep-dish, fully baked, wood-fired and

Boston and Ozark mountain ranges. The Schwan bakery plant here has a rich
history, first opening as a canned vegetable facility in 1942. Today, the plant

Schwan’s Consumer Brands Europe Limited
Leyland, Lancashire, England
The Schwan Food Company first gained a presence in the United Kingdom in 1989,
when the company purchased a small pizza business in Leyland, England. The
facility produces the Chicago Town™ pizza and dessert range, which is sold in the
United Kingdom and Europe. Today, in addition to its manufacturing functions,
the site is the company's European headquarters.

Mezidon, Normandy, France
The Schwan Food Company grew in November 1996 with the opening of its first
continental European operation in France. The facility specializes in pasta and
other multi-component microwave and oven-cook ready meals. It supplies Chicago Town™,

The Schwan Food Company's European presence was strengthened by the completion
of a state-of-the-art factory in eastern Germany in 1998. Schwan’s Food GmbH,
